Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. General
The protection of your personal data is important to us. This policy explains which data we process when you visit this website, what we need it for and what rights you have.
The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies to us. Where our offer is aimed at guests from the EU, we also comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Alpia FlexiHomes GmbHRied 22
3924 St Niklaus, Switzerland
Managing director: Ewald Truffer
Email: info@lacollina.ch
If you have any questions about data protection, please contact Martin Goertz (contact details in Section 16).
3. What data we process
We only process data to the extent that we need it to operate the website and to deal with your requests. This includes technical connection data when you visit the site, the information you provide in the contact form, and connection data that is sent to Google when you open the homepage with the map.
You do not enter booking data with us but in the eviivo booking system. We do not offer a newsletter and we do not create user accounts for visitors on this website.
4. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Germany); WordPress was set up using the IONOS installation tool. When you visit the site, the host automatically records technical access data. This includes the previously visited page, the page or file requested, browser type and version, operating system, device type and the time of access. The IP address is processed in anonymised form only.
This data serves the security and stability of the website. According to IONOS, it is stored for 8 weeks, not passed on to third parties and not transferred to countries outside the EU. A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS.
5. Contacting us
If you write to us using the contact form, we receive your details by email. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and to stay in touch in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this information without your consent.
The form runs on the Contact Form 7 plugin. We do not use external spam protection services.
6. Booking via eviivo
No booking system is embedded on our website. When you click the booking link, you are taken to the eviivo booking system (eviivo Limited, London, United Kingdom, and eviivo Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland). Only there do you enter your booking details, such as name, address, phone number, travel dates and payment information.
eviivo is responsible for this data processing, and its privacy policy applies (eviivo.com/privacy-policy). As the host, we receive the booking data in order to organise your stay.
7. Map (Google Maps)
A Google Maps map is embedded on our homepage to help you find us more easily. When you open the homepage, your browser therefore connects to Google. In doing so, Google receives, among other things, your IP address, information about your browser and device and the time of access, and cookies may be set.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The data may be transferred to the parent company Google LLC in the USA. We embed the map to make your journey easier and to present our offer clearly (legitimate interest).
If you do not want a connection to Google to be established when you open the page, you can block third-party content in your browser, for example with a content blocker. How Google processes data is explained in Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. We have no influence on this processing.
8. Cookies
This website uses cookies, which are small text files stored by your browser. We only use cookies that are technically necessary for operation, for example for language selection (Polylang plugin). The embedded Google map may additionally set cookies from Google (see Section 7).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. In that case, some parts of the website may no longer work.
9. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to external font providers such as Google is established when the page is loaded.
10. Disclosure of data and transfers abroad
We do not sell data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Your data only reaches the service providers we need to operate the website: IONOS for hosting, Google for the map (when you open the homepage) and eviivo for booking (only once you are on the eviivo site). Beyond that, we only pass data on to authorities or courts if we are legally required to do so.
When the map is displayed, data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the data protection agreement between the EU and the USA (Data Privacy Framework), and Google additionally relies on standard contractual clauses for transfers.
11. Retention
We only keep data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. Access data at the host is deleted after 8 weeks. We delete enquiries made via the contact form after 12 months at the latest, unless they lead to a booking.
Booking and invoice data must be kept for longer due to legal requirements, in Switzerland generally for 10 years.
12. Data security
We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include encrypted transmission via HTTPS, operation with a professional hosting provider, regular updates of WordPress and plugins, and access restricted to authorised persons.
13. Your rights
You can request information about the data we hold about you at any time. You can have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to its processing and, where possible, request that your data be handed over to you. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
Simply write to us at info@lacollina.ch. For security reasons, we may ask for proof of identity. You can also assert your rights regarding data you provided when booking with eviivo directly with eviivo.
14. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, edoeb.admin.ch.
However, we would be glad if you contacted us first so that we can clarify your concern.
15. Changes to this policy
We may amend this privacy policy, for example when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies. Last updated: October 2026.
